New York State Police from Troop F in Highland issued an alert this week regarding 32-year-old Joseph Sucato, who is wanted on multiple charges that include first-degree sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.
Police said that Sucato is wanted following an investigation that determined he sent pictures to an unwanted person of himself performing a lewd act. During questioning, Sucato admitted to the deed. Further search of his cell phone revealed several photos of child pornography, leading to his arrest.
Following his arrest, Sucato posted bail and failed to rever return to court, leading to a bench warrant that was issued by the Dutchess County Court. Police described Sucato as a 5-foot-9 white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He weighed approximately 150 pounds at the time of his arrest.
